Can anyone help me with data analysis? I'm stuck?

Question

Here's the thing. I have a biology field work task and I am almost done. But I have this bullet point that I have to finish. It says "Analyse data including tabulation of data collected, calculation of mean values...etc...etc. I am really stuck in this one. I have never done a data analysis in my school before and well, my teacher expects a lot from me, and I need to fulfil her expectations. So please if you can, I need you to tell me in a brief explanation on how to analyse data. Questions would be better if you have any in mind.

Tabulation would be presenting your data in a table. Mean values is what it says - the mean. Add up all values and divide with the number of samples. You have to provide more details about your data and about what you want (or have) to do with it, because there are many ways to analyze the data.

Some things you may want to include are the "n" or total number of subjects in a sample, the mean of the sample that is affected, the range of the sample (high and low), the standard deviation of the sample or the degree by which each individual sample differs from one another. You can also use equations such as the chi square equation, t-tests, and a load of other tests to come up with more precise analyses, and develop confidence intervals (usually .05-.001 %) but I doubt that level of detail will be necessary. You should wiki "statistics" to get some more ideas.
